Yeah, he was pretty great. I didn't get a chance to watch him too much when he was on TV, so I'm more familiar with his contemporaries. However, I did read up on him a year ago for some research, and I came to understand why he was such a huge presence in the late night industry and culture as a whole. Poor guy...he'll be missed.
