Matter of Chance to the 10th Power

I'm sure you've heard the news by now. I gotta say, it's very cool. First of all...kudos to Gabe for writing the great script, and kudos to all the performers for making it a very enjoyable film. And thanks to Josh for taking the helm on this one. I'm pleased with the fruits of our hard work.

Hey, this is getting very exciting! I really like Intense Math, I think it was the most exactly executed of the projects so far.

I have sort of a strange prediction. I don't think we'll be in the running to win the overall best film. It's just too subtle, there aren't enough "laugh out loud" moments for a comedy challenge. However, I believe, oddly enough, we could be in the running for all of the category awards. The story is great, the acting was superb on everyones part, it looks really slick, and it's got some great camera moves and action within the frame.

I'm envisioning a scenario where we win Best Story, Best Acting, Best Cinematography, and Best Directing, but don't win the Best Film. I don't know, it's a thought that's been in my head. I'm not crazy!

Winning a sweep like that would be very cool, but I'm glad we made it onto the program. If we did get best acting, writing, cinematography and directing, I don't think I'd feel terrible about loosing best film. Yeah, there'd be that sense of an "incomplete sweep" to the whole thing, and the thought that "if we're good enough for everything else, why not this?", but I wouldn't be heartbroken.
