...ya arrogant snots. Lot harder than the East, huh?

Okay, now here's the morning after thoughts...

The Suns will not do as well against this team again, and they will not fare well at all against the Pistons.

Bottom line: the Celtics were demoralized and the Suns took full advantage of it. Good for them - won't happen again, so they need to keep stepping up the game.

And Celtics fans: no matter how hard you wish it - KG isn't Larry Bird. Never has been -- never will be.

Same goes for the rest of the team. This isn't the 80's part-II for the Celtics. If any team gets to rightfully reclaim their 80's glory, it's the Lakers...

And let's face it. The Suns might not get it this year, but if the Celtics make it, they have to go up against the Lakers. And that will make their bout with the Suns last night look like a piece of cake.

And who demoralized them?? That's right, the Nuggets, putting 124 points on them! Ha, ha. But KG said the West would be a test. He should know, from when he was on the T-Wolves.

Yeah, the Nuggets have really shocked me. Hopefully, they can keep it up. They don't have an easy road ahead of them, but they should place in the top 9 seeds.

Also,

I loved Stoudemire's big grins every time KG got in his face. Also priceless was watching Doc Rivers pull him from the court so he could stew at Stoudemire from the bench. He'd better get control of that temper, cause he plays like garbage when it shows.

I haven't been able to follow the Celts as closely this past week since I've been moving. But I do believe that up until the All-Star break they hadn't lost to the West. Not too shabby.

Yeah, the Nugs need to be more consistent. They made it to the playoffs the last three years, I think, only to get win one game each time. Time to press forward!

Yeah, the Celts were 16-0 against the West, before going 0-3 now.

Yeah, the Celtics had an awesome record against the West previously.

I think the landscape has changed dramatically though. The Western teams aren't the same any more...most are loaded with superstar players and hot up-and-commers. The Celtics aren't a team to scoff at, but you have to remember that they no longer have "the big three" as a sole trademark...every Western team has a big three, or four or five...
