A Visit From Hollywood
Today we had lunch with some of Rebekah's family, including her mom's cousin, Glen Scantlebury, who's edited some big name films. I gave him a DVD with the Matter of Chance films. Hopefully he'll get a kick out of them.
A place for music and movies, be it indie or major label. Or chances are...we'll just discuss random crap. We'll see...

You know, we blasted right over to IMDB to look Glen up after I got off the phone with you last night. Would be cool to get some actual constructive criticism.

Sure, I figured you'd appreciate advice from one editor to another. He's mostly used Avid, of course, but he used Final Cut Pro on My Tiny Universe, which he co-wrote and co-directed with his wife, and he liked it quite a bit.
Winter's Day is the one film that seems to be generally entertaining and not a straight-up art flick. And I'm saying there should be a criterion dvd with all our films...

I'd be all over FCP if I was ready to jump back to Mac. Just not my time yet.
Winter's Day needs... more yelling. Much more yelling. One of these days I'm going to have you guys over and be like "Hey, can you guys record some random yelling for me?"
